Thank you, 2018.

Updated: Feb 20, 2019

2018 was a year of fun and new events in Cincinnati. In this blog post we are going to take a look back through all of the Cincy Fests' Featured Events from this year. With the new year approaching, it's time to celebrate and cherish all of the incredible memories made in 2018.

This year's extended weekly Party on the Purple People Bridge was more fun than ever. Cincinnati's favorite midweek party went from April through August of 2018. Each week a different band was rocking the bridge and different local food trucks and vendors were serving delicious food items. Of course, great drinks such as the Purple Breeze made with Svedka Vodka and ice cold beer were always available for the partiers!

A brand new event came to Oakley Square this past May. Serving over 100 different varieties of beer including dozens of locally brewed beers. Each festival attendee received a small stein to sample the beers! Live music played all weekend long at the square.

The Taps Tastes and Tunes Festival saw its inaugural year in 2018. This festival featured ice cold beer from Bud Light, Miller Light and more, great food from local restaurants and food vendors and live music all weekend long! Located at the Streets of West Chester, this festival quickly became known as the "Taste of Butler County."

This year's Bacon Bourbon and Brew Festival featured dozens of unique and tasty food items that incorporated bacon, bourbon and/or beer in some way. Menu items included Coal Fired Wings tossed in Bourbon, Maple & Bacon Glaze, Donuts Stuffed with Bourbon Ice Cream and topped with Bacon, Oreo and Nutella Empanadas with Bourbon and much more! Don't forget all the great live music and bourbon activities!

The Great Inland Seafood Festival featured more restaurants and vendors than ever before with a focus on fresh and unique menu items. From Whole Maine Lobsters under $11 to Pineapple Seafood Boats and more, this festival is always a crowd favorite! Everyone enjoys live music, ice cold drinks and fresh seafood while overlooking the lights of the Cincinnati skyline.

The 2018 Newport Oktoberfest featured live music from traditional German bands, German imported beer and classic Oktoberfest food. Popular menu items include cream puffs, pastries, sausages, sandwiches, goetta and more! This year's festival also included activities such as the Stein Holding Competitions, Stick Horse Races, Log Sawing Competitions and more!

We are sad to see the 2018 festival season come to an end but we are so excited for all of the fun we have planned for 2019! Stay tuned for exciting announcements about new festivals and events for 2019.
