Newport Oktoberfest brings a true Munich feel with the event’s large fest tent atmosphere sponsored by Christian Moerlein Lagers and Ales! Just like the traditional Oktoberfest beer tents this entire event is held under tent with all the food, drinks and fun you can ask for. This year we are pleased to honor Mr. Scott Scholz of Händlmaier's Mustard Club Cincinnati as the 2018 Newport Oktoberfest Burgermeister. Mr. Scholz is recognized for his contribution in furthering German Culture heritage as the Founder of the Mustard Club Cincinnati. Come congratulate Mr. Scholz on being this year’s Burgermeister.
NEW for 2018 join us for the exciting Newport Oktoberfest Stakes Stick Horse Racing, Masskrugstemmen Beer Stein Holding Competition and our Log Sawing Competition. Also visit over a dozen crafters at the New Bluegrass Marketplace.
Food vendors will be featuring traditional German fare including Superbrats, Bavarian Sausages, Bacon Wrapped Goetta Bites, Big Goetta Sandwiches, Goetta Sliders, Currywurst, Hot Dogs, Reuben sandwiches, French Fries, Goetta Balls, Limburger, Oktoberfest Pretzels with Cheese, Bavarian Cream Puffs, Apple and Cherry Strudel, German Pastries and much more!
Continuous Live Music featuring Germany’s famous Schoene Zeiten Echo playing authentic German music as well as Steve Owen Musig, Alpen Echos and the Enzian Dance Group.
