Oktoberfest Zinzinnati, presented by Amazon and Samuel Adams, is a celebration of the rich German heritage in Southwest Ohio. This annual weekend festival features tasty samples of German-style music, food and beer! The festival saw its first year in 1976 and since then has grown to become the country's largest #Oktoberfest celebration!

Located in Downtown Cincinnati, Oktoberfest Zinzinnati can be found on Second and Third Streets, between Walnut and Elm Streets.

Event Schedule

Running of the Weiners

The Running of the Wieners is the annual kickoff to Oktoberfest Zinzinnati! 100 dachshunds will race to be crowned the winning wiener at the Running of the Wieners, Friday, September 21, 2018.

Chicken Dance

The world's largest Chicken Dance! Each year Oktoberfest Zinzinnati appoints a Grand Marshall to lead the world's largest chicken dance. This year, the Director of the Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden, Thane Maynard, is the Grand Marshall leading the dance. The dates and times of the Oktoberfest Zinzinnati Chicken Dance have yet to be announced, but be sure to check their website for updates.
