We are now looking for Volunteer groups to fill slots for our 2020 Festival Season! This year we have more openings and more potential to earn money than ever before with even bigger and more exciting events!. If you want to make some extra money for your group or organization this summer then be sure to reach out. We are looking for groups who are interested in volunteering at festivals and events all across Cincinnati!

-Asian Food Fest (May 9-10, 2020)
-Taste of Cincinnati (May 23-25, 2020)
-Italianfest (June 11-14, 2020)
-Taps, Tastes and Tunes Festival (June 19-21, 2020)
-Bacon, Bourbon and Brew Festival (July 9-12, 2020)
-Glier's Goettafest (July 30 - August 1 & August 6-9, 2020)
-Great Inland Seafood Festival (August 13-16, 2020)
-Brew HAHA (August 21-22, 2020)
-Cincinnati Celtic Festival (August 28-30, 2020)
-Riverfest (September 6, 2020)
-Oktoberfest Zinzinnati (September 18-20, 2020)
-Oktoberfest Newport (September 25-27, 2020)
Now you may be asking, how does this all work?
ColdIron Events will make a flat rate donation to your group/organization in return for the work provided. You and your group also get to keep ALL of the tips you earn throughout the ENTIRE weekend!
Who can volunteer?
Any and all groups/organizations are welcome to volunteer. We have requirements that vary for each festival regarding how many people need to work at all times. Typically we require groups of 8-10 people to be available for the event, which your group leader would break into shifts. Some of our top groups are parents of kids who play sports throughout the school year and want some extra money to pay for uniforms or travel costs. The kids can help too - we recently started allowing individuals 12 and above to work at the non-alcohol booths so long as they are supervised by an adult. Work programs, non-profits, animal shelters, teachers, boy scouts / girl scouts, business start-ups and many more are welcome to volunteer with us this coming summer!
Skip selling wrapping paper, popcorn, or ice cream for your group and start having fun by working at some of the hottest festivals and events in Cincinnati! Not only do all of these events bring in a great crowd, they also bring in a lot of fun music, delicious food and more!
What are the available opportunities?
Each event is different, we offer alcohol and non-alcohol booths at most of our festivals and events. Older kids can be supervised working the non-alcohol booths while the adults work the alcohol booths. Your main job will be to pour drinks, take money and keep your money and your station clean and organized. We ask that volunteers are polite to customers and refrain from drinking during the event. We also ask that all volunteers are dressed appropriately and don't overuse their cellphones while at work.
